Lincoln Academy of Massage & Bodyworks was first licensed by the Massage Therapy Board at the Nebraska Department of Health & Human Services.  They have a team that reviews and approves curriculums and ensures that we are meeting the strict guidelines set forth.  Upon approval from them, we then met the approval as a certified massage school from the Private Postsecondary Career Schools at the Nebraska Board of Education.  

In order to seek accreditation status, we needed to be in operation for a specified amount of time and graduate a minimum number of students.  Then the lengthy and arduous task of meeting the guidelines of COMTA (Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation) began.  Our program was so well structured that there was very little we needed to adjust, but the process required many steps, copious documents, and a site visit from their staff.  We are pleased to announce that we have received accreditation as of October 2023!!
